Derrick
Derrick has 38 years of experience in the mining industry. During his career, he worked for 3 of the largest gold mining companies: Goldfields, AngloGoldAshanti, and Harmony Gold, where he is currently based. He also worked during his 38 years in various disciplines, namely Mineral Resources, Occupational Environment, Safety, and lastly Training and Development.,
During his time, he acquired a national diploma in HR and various other qualifications in leadership, as well as ISO systems and Training. He also served for a period on the MQA TRG.
He is the current President of AMIRP and has been a member of the AMIHRP for over 10 years of which he served 10 years on the council.

I have worked in Mining Industry for more than 30 yrs in different roles.
Currently working for Harmony Gold Mine SA Operations as Senior Manager Learning and Development Technical Training. Worked at MQA as a ETQA Manager. Professional background is rooted in Human Resources, holding an Honours Degree in Human Resources Management From Southern Business School; B. Tech Degree In Human Resources Management from UNISA. Executive and Management Coaching From UCT.
Nokuthula Nsutsh
Nokuthula joined Mining Industry in 2003 and her Mining experience span over 20 years.
She started her career as Admin clerk and worked her way up to Managerial position,
currently she is Unit Manager Human Resources for Sibanye Stillwater in Learning and
Development area. Her formal education include but not limited to a B-Tech degree in
Human Resource Management, Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certificate
through South African Remuneration Association in partnership with World at Work in USA,
various Leadership Development Programmes certificates through GIBS and Duke.
Recently completed Accelerated Development Initiative (ADI).
She is registered with SABPP and serves in Professional Association’s bodies which include
Association of Mining Industry Human Resource Practitioners (AMIHRP) currently serves as
the President of the Association, Advisory Board member in Human Resources at Vaal
University of Technology.
She has held various roles within the Human Resources space which includes but not
limited to Talent Management, Skills Development, Transformation, Stakeholder
Engagement, Employee Relations and Total Rewards and Benefits, and Human Resources
generalist portfolio.
What it means to her to “inspire inclusion”, it means is not just about ticking boxes; it's about
embracing the richness of diverse thoughts, cultures, and perspectives. It's about creating

Reach Reinecke
Senior Human Resources manager
Reach Reinecke is the Senior HR Manager for Plants and Services at Harmony Gold Mining Company.
Reach obtained his B COMM - Labour Relations Degree at the Norh West University in 1997 and started his career at Anglo Americal Gold Division in 1998 as an HR management trainee.
In 2009 he did a management development programme with AngloGold Ashanti and completed his Post Graduate in Management at the University of Cape town in 2010.
Reach has been exposed to all aspects of gold mining including open pit and deep level mining . As HR professional for the past 28 years, he is well versed in Staffing, Labour Relations, Learning and Development and Organisational development. He has a passion for people and likes to encourage and facilitate employee growth.
He is member of AMIHRP and previously was member of SABPP.
Thapelo Monametsi
